PRF – TREATMENT WITH YOUR OWN PLASMA AND FIBRIN

PRF (“platelet rich fibrin”) is an abbreviation for platelet-rich fibrin obtained from the patient’s blood and used in implantology, oral surgery, periodontology and aesthetic medicine for the natural regeneration of damaged tissues. Platelet-rich fibrin stimulates and accelerates the healing process and tissue regeneration.

Procedure:
A small amount of the patient’s blood needs to be taken and placed into a special centrifuge device. The centrifugation process lasts only 8 minutes, during which red blood cells are separated and FIBRIN-ENRICHED PLASMA remains, which we use.

2 types of procedures are applied:

1. A-PRF, which produces a fibrin clot rich in platelets that can be applied in most surgical and periodontal procedures such as sinus floor elevation – sinus lifting, implant placement, tooth extractions, bone and soft tissue augmentation.
2. I-PRF, which provides a liquid ready for injection into areas where it is needed. The liquid form is used especially for facial aesthetics but also for gum regeneration.
