Today, dental implants can be placed into the bone in two ways:
- through a conventional minor surgical procedure
- through 3D guided implant placement without surgical incisions and sutures
In order to provide our patients with PAINLESS TREATMENT and, above all, PRECISE AND SAFE implant placement, our dental practice introduced the LATEST 3D IMPLANTOLOGY SYSTEM – MGUIDE ten years ago.
MIS Implants is a global company that manufactures, designs, develops, and sells state-of-the-art dental implants, abutments, and solutions for complete oral rehabilitation. They have also developed the latest MGUIDE SYSTEM – 3D IMPLANTATION. MIS dental implants are used in the best dental clinics worldwide due to their innovative development.
MGUIDE implantation is performed using a jaw CT scan and a special surgical guide, and it is essentially implant placement WITHOUT SURGERY, INCISIONS, SUTURES, BLOOD, PAIN, SWELLING, OR POST-OPERATIVE DISCOMFORT.
3D implantology or, as it is also called, computer-guided implantology, is a technique that the Dental Estetic Studio team has been using for more than 10 years.
How is it performed:
- Before the procedure itself, all that is needed is a patient CT scan and an intraoral scan. A CT scan is a three-dimensional image of the jaw that provides extremely precise visualization of dental structures, allowing us to see the EXACT thickness, height, density of the bone, and anatomical structures. With the help of specialized software, we can precisely plan an implant that is the ideal size in relation to the bone and positioned in the optimal location.
- The scan data and CT images are sent to the MIS company, where computer technology is used to plan the ideal implant placement position and create a 3D-printed patient model and a special surgical guide.
- When the patient arrives for implant placement, the guide is positioned in the mouth and the dental implant is placed directly through the guide. Of course, this procedure is possible if the patient has sufficient bone height and width. If not, bone augmentation may be required, which is now performed very successfully.
- Scanning the oral situation and printing the model and surgical guide provide extremely high precision for this procedure, meaning implant placement without surgical intervention, which is why this type of implantation represents the future of implant dentistry.
Patients are extremely satisfied with this implant placement technique because:
- THERE IS NO PAIN
- THE PROCESS IS FAST
- THE DENTAL IMPLANT IS POSITIONED WITH PERFECT PRECISION REGARDING THE ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES
- MAXIMUM USE OF AVAILABLE BONE
- NO INCISIONS, SUTURES, OR SWELLING
- NEIGHBORING TEETH ARE NOT AFFECTED
The condition for implant placement without surgery is that the patient initially has sufficient bone height and width, or that in certain cases we want to precisely plan the direction of implant placement.
